Sam Mary Moscovitz
Meet Sam,
With over 25 years of experience as a senior registered psychologist, Sam brings extensive clinical expertise across a broad range of mental health, community, and therapeutic settings. She is also an AHPRA Board-approved supervisor, providing professional supervision and support to psychologists and other mental health practitioners.
Sam currently works in private practice across two clinic locations in Sydney — Concord and Double Bay, and also leads a telehealth psychology service delivering mental health support to rural communities across NSW. This has given her a deep understanding of both metropolitan and regional mental health needs, as well as the importance of accessible and flexible care.
Her approach to therapy is integrative and client-centred. She draws from a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and tailors her approach to suit each individual, rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model. She believes effective therapy comes from understanding each person’s unique story, strengths, and goals, and adapting strategies to support meaningful and sustainable change.
She works with adults experiencing anxiety, stress, trauma, workplace challenges, addictions, life transitions, and interpersonal difficulties, and has a particular interest in helping people develop insight, emotional resilience, and practical coping strategies.
